Vicente Pérez Díaz
Vicente practises at Ergo Psicología in Marbella. His therapeutic work focuses on addictions, in adults and in teenagers: substances (alcohol, cannabis, cocaine, benzodiazepines) and problematic behaviours (screens, video games, online gambling, sexuality). When the patient is a minor, he also supports the family through the process.
He holds a Degree in Psychology (Licenciatura) from the University of Málaga. During his studies he completed an Erasmus exchange at Ghent University (Belgium), an international stay that shaped a broader perspective on mental health and therapeutic practice.
Before Ergo Psicología, Vicente built up twelve years of clinical experience in residential settings. Six years at a centre specialised in addiction treatment, supporting recovery processes through every stage, and eight years at a treatment centre for adolescents with behavioural difficulties, where he handled complex cases: eating disorders, mild and moderate autism spectrum, substance use, social withdrawal, self-harm, ADHD, depression and family difficulties. He worked at both centres in parallel for a couple of years.
That dual track gives him a therapeutic eye particularly trained on both addiction and adolescence, which also helps him read adult cases more accurately.
His approach is integrative, with humanistic roots: he combines emotional work, cognitive-behavioural tools and, where the case calls for it, a systemic lens on the family. He believes in direct, non-judgemental conversations and in realistic plans tailored to each person. No quick fixes, no one-size-fits-all scripts.
With adolescents, Vicente combines individual sessions with parent meetings whenever it makes sense. Recovery at that age rarely happens in isolation from the family environment, and opening that channel, while protecting the teenager's privacy, often makes the difference.
His philosophy
"In my view, addiction is an 'illness of the emotions'. Recovery requires treating the whole person: personality, family dynamics, how they relate to others and to themselves, the way they feel, think and act. Only this kind of holistic approach opens the door to the deep emotional work that truly makes a difference."
Psychologist & Sex Therapist

Master’s in Sexuality and Couples Therapy
Isabel Agüera San Martín
Isabel leads the sex therapy practice at Ergo Psicología, delivered together with Pepa, sex therapist and Isabel's colleague, in co-therapy: two specialists in every session. She works with individuals and couples facing difficulties in their sexual lives, in intimate communication, or in the affective relationship itself.
She holds a Degree in Psychology (Licenciatura) from the University of Málaga and went on to complete a Master’s in Sexuality and Couples Therapy, which forms the professional foundation of her current practice.
Sessions can be individual or as a couple, depending on what each case needs. Topics range from desire and sexual dysfunction to pain during intimacy, communication, life transitions (motherhood, menopause, grief) and relationship conflicts that end up affecting intimate life.
Her style is warm, professional and taboo-free. Nothing spoken in her consulting room is off-limits or awkward. Often people arrive with questions they've never voiced out loud before. Putting them into words is the first step to understanding what's going on.
Her philosophy
"Romantic relationships, in all their forms, are a challenge of acceptance, admiration and intimacy that, once achieved within yourself, you can share with whoever you choose. We don't always know how to face the doubts and problems that come up, and that's why we need outside help to guide us and encourage us to keep going and to grow. Take the step to know yourself and accept yourself. Nobody will do it better than you."
